Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

A close relative died a year ago who had no will or children and i am one of four others considered for an inheritance (Approx. $3 mil). Everything has been sold to meet the requirements of the court in San Diego,Ca. An attorney's office in Pasadena,Ca that makes a living in trying to find more heirs has come out of nowhere and claims to have a list of 30 more relatives to this estate. We have a attorney that is handling this inheritance, but we now need an attorney in San Diego, Ca to fight this so called list of other heirs. Can anyone recommend a good attorney in San Diego,Ca? Can this be taken on a contengency basis? Please advise.
