Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Community property possibly bought with money from seperate property funds

My mother died in 1984, with no will, having been married to my step father for 20 years. My step father never married again and died with no children a few months ago. His will says that all of his properties go to a charitable organization. Several of those properties were purchased before he married my mother but 2 were purchased while married to her. Perhaps the funds to buy the property were his own money made prior to marrying my mother. All properties were only listed in his name. One he sold 2 years after her death. The rest are being considered for sale to give away to charity. Do I have legal rights to half of that property?

Depends upon how title to those properties were held before your mom died.
