for what reasons can a conservator of person be dismissed?

I assume you mean a court ordered conservator. If so and you are intested in the person or the estate of the conservatee you can petition the court to dismiss and replace the conservator. Reasons? Waste of estate assets, self-dealing, negligence, or other misconduct.
