Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Conservatored father wants rights known, signature valid?

My father and mother were conservatored last summer. My father is trying to stop a lawsuit that his successor trustee has filed against one of my father's own kids, over a transaction my father wanted to do. My father said today, I want to sign something to stop this lawsuit - this is ridiculous. I can see on the conservatorship papers it says my father has a court appt'd attorney - how can I find out who that is? Can his atty do anything for him? because his conservator and the trustee are ignoring him, and the lawsuit is draining the trust. The successor trustee is billing and billing, lining his pockets, over a concocted dispute. My father is completely opposed to them wasting his money over something that HE wanted to do. What can my father do to help stop this? He is smart, and mentally able to talk, but has good days and bad days, and has great memory loss. I was told about a substituted judgment, but have been afraid to suggest it to my father, because they might call it undue influence, if I tell him about it. Can his court appointed lawyer step in (on behalf of my father) and tell the trustee to stop this senseless claim? Your guidance and answers would be greatly appreciated.

You can try contacting the court-appointed attorney--the attorney's name and address should be in the court's file.
