How do you file for conservatorship

That is a loaded question! Conservatorships are generally very detailed with a tremendous amount of state and local forms required. One of our attorneys is very experienced with them and I suggest you call her to discuss your case. Filing for a conservatorship is not something one should do on their own. You have to fill out a number of forms and pay a filing fee and a court investigator fee. Many Courts have free legal clinics set up which will assist you in this process. Another option is to contact an attorney with experience in this area.
