Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Can a convicted felon serve as an executor?

My sibling was convicted of grand theft ($30K), flight to avoid arrest, & forgery. It is my understanding that a FELON cannot serve as an executor. Do you know what is the EXACT Probate Code so I can refer to the law? Thank you.
