Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Copy of Trust
My father died April 29, 2001. He had a living Trust. I don't know if I am named in the Trust or not. Do I have a right to see a copy of the Trust.

Re: Copy of Trust
Under California law, beneficiaries have a right to see the trust once it becomes irrevocable (usually at the trustmaker's death). If you haven't received notice from the trustee, request a copy of the trust.
Re: Copy of Trust
All beneficiaries are entitled to see a copy of the trust once the trust becomes irrevocable which it did as of the dte of death.
Re: Copy of Trust
As a beneficiary of a trust you have the right to review the
same, especially since the grantor of the trust has
died. Contact the trustee and make a written request for
a copy of the trust document
