Copy of Trust

My father died April 29, 2001. He had a living Trust. I don't know if I am named in the Trust or not. Do I have a right to see a copy of the Trust.

Under California law, beneficiaries have a right to see the trust once it becomes irrevocable (usually at the trustmaker's death). If you haven't received notice from the trustee, request a copy of the trust.

All beneficiaries are entitled to see a copy of the trust once the trust becomes irrevocable which it did as of the dte of death.

As a beneficiary of a trust you have the right to review the

same, especially since the grantor of the trust has

died. Contact the trustee and make a written request for

a copy of the trust document
