Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

court orders

I assume an attorney for a beneficiary of a living trust needs a court order to get bank statements from a bank named within the trust (right?)..Question; Is there a way to find out if there was a court order applied for, and or granted for that purpose...if so, where and how would you find out...also must it be applied for in the jurisdiction of the granter of the trust, can it be applied for out of state? thank you
