Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Curious with the practice and representations during '' Probate .''
Can a Paralegal sign an Attorney's name on a ''Verification Notice''
in the Courts filing dept?..I thought ONLY the person who is
signing...Is in verifying who they are on such a notice?
If there is neglagence preformed by an atty and her paralegal.I
know of the State/Counties Bar Associations. Can't find any dept. to
file a complaint against this paralegal. Is there such a place to do a
complaint? You can search the profiles on atty's and judges thru
the State Bar's website(and phone)...Any simuliar places for
checking out Paralegals?How can I search/review other
Cases,Torts in the Probate Law?If I file for probate as In Pro Per,
do I need to be Bonded?What exactly is a Bond for?Their role/
responsibilites in the Law of Probate? Also any other laws need
bonding? Thank You !

Your question mixes me up so much. Are you a paralegal or are you just asking can a paralegal do something in place of an attorney?? Where he calls for an attorney signature he is the only one who consigned the document. If you're going in to administer an estate personally, a bond is necessary to protect the beneficiaries, even yourself. You see, that is in place to make sure that if somebody steals the money or the assets in the estate there is a bond in the amount of the value in the estate to protect the beneficiaries against staff of those assets. It is required without any questions in a minimum value of $10,000. Your question is interesting because it is multiple questions without a fax situation and I am not sure why you're asking it. i have been practicing law in this speciality for over 30 years in the san francisco bay area and if you wish to consult with me you can contact me at 925-945-6000.
