Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Dad passed away in Jan, left me beneficary on his checking account. My step-brother is power-of-attorney.The bank accidentaly released the beno money & now I am trying to get it back from my brother, who has been holding on to it for 3mo. now.He tried putting the money back into dad's account but the bank froze the account. Can the bank un-freeze the account after showing death certificate, & how do i get my money since my brother has it? I am the sole bene
