Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Dads will

My dad recently passed,his will states that my stepmom should recieve all of their community property, but if she predeceased him then he devise fifyt percent of his home to myself and my brothers. Does this mean that since he died before she did that we are not entitled to 50% of the home when she dies?
