Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Death of an Aunt
I lost my dad in Jan. 2006{88} and I need to find his only sister{95} but I believe she passed away in Sept. 2006. She lived in L.A. Calif. I would like to find out for sure if she did pass and where would her personal property go. I was named after her and she never married or had any chrilden,so I am the only living relative. She got mad at her brother{my dad} about 8 years ago and would not speak to us since. Dad & I live in MN. While she lived in Calif. I do not know how to find out about her or her belongings. I don't think there was a will. Can you help me and point me in the right direction. Thank You

There are some public search databases, you can do a search on Google using people finder. Other then that, the last poster was correct, your option is to either hire legal counsel or a private investigator. We have access to a lot of databases which are not in the publics hands.
