Death of parent/debts/assets

My father died with no assets, but with debts. Should I send a copy of the death certificate to the debtors, do you have letter sample?

Yes, that would be a good idea. A letter from an attorney explaining that he died pennyless and that there are no assets available for distribution would also help.

You can or not. Its the nice thing to do. But, if there are no assets the creditors will find out and write off the debts.
