Re: death without a will

Get out of the chair, turn off the motor and an attorney who specializes in probate. Especially probate litigation. That person is the one you want to specifically in front of you or story too. And then listen to his/her advice. More likely than not your sister after receiving a letter from the attorney will fork over your and one half share an account for all of the assets in the state. You allowed her to do this based upon a family. Now you learned your lesson so based upon "greed" do something to protect yourself.I have practiced law in the San Francisco Bay area for over 30 years and feel quite confident in terms of my familiarity with your problem. Re: death without a will

1. Demand an Explanation.

It could be that there were debts owed that had to be paid, but you have a right to an accounting.

Re: death without a will

Demand an accounting. If that doesn't work, start a probate and drag her in front of the court, who will order her to account and may issue a surcharge.
