Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
When drafting a Will in CA is it necessary to define the term 'Child' when mentioning an adopted child, or is an adopted child automatically considered a "child" with all benefits, without having to define it?

Google Probate Code section 21115. In general, adopted children count as children in every respect. However, it's good practice to spell things out when drafting the will or trust, to avoid any potential confusion.
