Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Durable power of attorney vs. Conventional power of attorney
If a person has a durable power of attorney for a trust, may that person also have a conventional power of attorney for every day transactions, appointing a different attorney-in-fact?

It depends on the power of attorney--many have clauses revoking prior powers of attorney. If not, the later power of attorney supercedes the earlier one wherever it would conflict with the earlier one.
