What is the duty of a probate referee and how long does it take to get results

They have to appraise the non-cash assets of a probate or conservatorship estate, and the turnaround time is usually 4-8 weeks. They're also available to appraise assets outside of probate court cases too.

I agree with Mr. Johnson. The probate referee acts as an appraiser, determining the value of non-cash property in the probate estate.
