Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Edits to revocable trust
Current trust set up many many years ago as family trust with parents being trustees and trustors. I am executor. Trust includes wills that state our home is to sell and split amongst 4 siblings. Mother unexpectedly passed away and I am my fathers care taker. It was my mothers and is my fathers wish to change trust so that I can stay in home/own the home. Also home is currently under prop 13, is there a way to keep it under prop 13 if father passes? Should I be added to deed? 2 Siblings currently in agreement with me owning home but one may contest. (A half sister that was married and had her own home before this home was purchased when I was 18 months.) Is there a way to protect my parents wishes from anyone who doesn't agree with arrangements? Also, current law group in charge of trust isn't working with me in a timely manor. Can the trust be transfered to someone who will help me?

Re: Edits to revocable trust
Among other issues, it is important to know two things: (1) Is your father still competent to sign legal documents? (2) Can the trust be amended? If your father is competent, and the trust can be amended, your father may amend it any way he wishes.
