Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
As executor to my aunts estate I have been trying to collect a remaining $5700 from an account she has with Chase Bank. All other banks accepted the 13100 form, however Chases is saying they will not release the funds unless and until I present a "small claims affidavit", from what I see on line these forms appear to look like the 13100 form, however they continue to be adament that I must submit a small claims affidavit. Can you tell me where to get this form?

PC Section 13100 form IS the small estate affidavit.

There is a small estate affidavit, which Ms. Cusack mentions. There is no such thing as a small claims affidavit. If they keep pushing you around, sue them.
