Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

The executor of estate has given us a W-9 form requesting our social security number. We do not want to give this to her since we have been fighting her for 3 years and took her to court to have her removed as executor when she e-mailed us saying she would do everything she could to prevent us from receiving any money. Can we provide information directly to the CPA? A 1040 was filed earlier this year.

Sure you could provide it directly to the CPA ( who is her agent for this purpose). But since she is the one signing the return, this information will be available to her anyway. I'm not sure what you accomplish be declining to respond.
