can a executor of a living trust put the settler into a medical facility if not specified in the trust?

A trustee of a trust does not typically have the authority to choose the residence of a beneficiary of the trust. An agent under an advance health care directive is the person who has that authority if the directive gives them that authority. An executor of a will has not authority until the testator is deceased.
