Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Executor asking for $ & has done NOTHING.

The only thing my sibling has done is hire a contentious rude atty. Sibling never comes to hearings, has NOT paid any estate bills and let the house run into the ground. Upon taking occupancy during Probate, I have busted my butt getting home back in shape, contested issues pro per in court and made EVERY appearance. Now sibling wants payment as Executor and atty is asking for MORE $. Atty complains about having to do things, I have offered her to resign herself but she won't. If you go to a buffet lunch it is all you can eat for ONE price. She has created all the contention in the resolution of the estate. Each day the house LOSES VALUE because of the poor real estate market. If I had NOT contested, she would have taken ALL the money, since I contested, now she wants MORE. Judge ordered her to do an acctg. She presented a summary - not an itemization. She refuses to keep me abreast, since I am pro per, I believe I am entitled to know APPRAISERS name & Phone #, right? Thanks for your help.

You'd be better of with a lawyer, but you can find the name and address of the court appointed referee (appraiser) by examining the documents filed in the court, if there is a probate.
