Executor/Administrator

When a family member such as a daughter is named administrator of a revocable trust who oversees her to make sure the terms of the trust are properly executed to all beneficiaries?

Re: Executor/Administrator

No one except perhaps the person who created the trust if they are still alive. There always is someone who is at the very top without anyone above them. The beneficiaries can go to court to claim misconduct.

Re: Executor/Administrator

Generally, the beneficiaries will make sure that the named trustee acts in the best interests of the trust as well as the beneficiaries. The trustee is under a fiduciary duty to do so as well. This is an extremely high standard of care and scrutinized harshly if (and/or when) it is brought to Court for a resolution.
