Expense responsibility
Our brother is the Executor of our parents' will. Their last, living pet lives with my sister, not by her choice. Is the Estate responsible for vet bills, expenses, etc. in California?

It depends on the terms of the trust. We actually provide a 'pet trust' service for people in this situation. In your situation, most likely, the trust is not responsible, but your sister is not responsible for taking care of them either.
