My unmarried father has approximately $100,000.00 in credit card debt, no assets and no life insurance. In the event of his death are his children liable for this debt?

Re: Family Liability
No. Children normally not liable for parent's credit card debts. Only exception is joint debt, such as if your dad put your name on his credit card.
