Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
FamilyTrust
My Very wealthy grampa died in Jan. I've only rec'd one call from my mom or any family since, stating he suddenly died of a broken heart. (?)
She & my aunt were in his presence at time of his unexpected death.
I just found out that my aunt became POA in mid Jan.''
My mom and aunt are the big beneficiaries and now have Many, Many millions. Rumor is that I was ''removed from the trust''and replaced by my aunt's herion-troubled son. (He's now rich, too!)
Regardless, I want to insure my GP's wishes are carried out re: charities, great-great grand kids, etc.
We do know Auntie Executor ripped up a dozen, hand signed (by GP) checks for one of the kids.
We have no contact w/Mom or Auntie & don't know the cause of death, atty or ???
Advise? Respectfully yours.
