Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My father died 4 months ago. My father live in my aunts house and she has his title. I am his heir( but he does not have a will) she will not let me take his belongings. Do I have any rights to it. how can I get the cars if I do?

I presume the title refers to title to the house and not the cars. For a change to title to the cars you need to contact the DMV to see what is acceptable to them. You may have to probate the estate.
