Would have to see how title is held to accounts/whether there are POD designations, etc., but probably yes. The limit for small estate affidavits is 100,000 ($150,000 starting 1/1/12).

As may not be clear from the prior answer, whether a formal probate is needed depends on the type of property in the estate and how the property was held.
