Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My father had passed on the 10th leaving no will. Being his daughter can I remove his belongings legally from the property?

Sorry about your loss. There is not really enough information here to know how to answer your question. What property are you referring to? An apartment? A nursing facility or assisted living facility?

Are you the only child? I suggest you call the local County Bar Association. They offer free or low cost consultations and that way you can meet face to face with a lawyer who can better answer your questions.
