Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
my father and stepmother have a trust,my father died,now my stepmother is trustee and I'm the beneficiary when she dies.in calif. is she legally obligated to give me an accounting of the estate if I request it?

It depends on what the Trust requires. However, generally, no a Settlor who is also the Trustee does not need to provide an accounting when the Settlor is the primary beneficiary of the Trust.
