Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Father-In-Law had a store front paralegal created a Last Will. They are no longer in business. He now wants to change info and can't find his doc's. Can He create another will and have this Document supercede the original legally?

Yes, most wills contain language revoking all previous wills. BTW, if he is not going to a real lawyer, he should probably use a California Statutory Will form (you can find online). If he owns real property and/or has more than $150,000 in after tax cash and investments, his estate will be subject to probate unless he gets a living trust.
Yes. I agree with Ms. Cusack. I strongly urge him to consider hiring an estate planning attorney to help with this. Do it yourself wills and form wills always create more headaches for the family down the line than was intended.
