Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
when my fathr passd away in 1993, my stepmom said he had no will. I'm sure he did and included myself to receive part of the property. She remained in the house and now that she has passd away, her daughter moved into the house and says theres no will but that her mom wanted her to have everything. Do I have any rights and how would I find where his will may have been recorded?

Please look at simillar questions previously asked and answered. I assume the stepmother did not adopt you. Check with all the lawyers he saw. If you can get ahold of his checkbook from'93 back to see which attorneys he went to. The will might never have been recorded.
