Get a Probate Attorney, preferably one in the area where your grandmother passed away.

Find a probate attorney as soon as possible. They have to "probate" the will (in other words, start a probate proceeding) before any property can be sold or distributed. If they refuse to do this, you can start one and issue a subpoena to produce the will. Don't delay, it is easy for assets to disappear in this type of situation.

Why are you writing to the Internet and not sitting down in front of a real attorney specialized in estate planning/probate. How you do what you want to? Seek the aid of an attorney who can help you in person. If you are not schooled enough to know what to do you sure can't do it yourself. By the way no one really reads a will to the family, that tells me the level that you are thinking at and how far below the level you need to protect yourself. The will should be filed in the county courthouse, and probate should be opened soon. If they won't show you the will, you may want to open probate yourself to get the process started and bring the will/estate out in the open.
