Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

We are in the form of a Class Gift of my Aunts Residuary gift. We are also the Contingent of my Dads half of the Residuary if he failed to survive our Aunt. Are we entitled to notice..? (in California )

If this is a trust, you are entitled to a notice from the trustee under Probate Code �16061.7. If this is a will filed for probate, you are entitled to a notice of hearing and a copy of the probate petition filed with the court.
