Which form should I use

I'm helping my father, who is a widower, make a will. I don't know which for to use because he and his deceased wife have adult children but not together.

Aside from the fact that using an attorney instead of some canned form is both wise and cost-effective, your selecting a form for someone else to use to make a will constitutes your practicing law without a license, or more to the point, practicing law without your being qualified to do so.

To ensure that your father's estate plan actually accomplishes his goals, a qualified attorney should be retained to develop the plan and prepare the documents (it is likely that other basic estate planning documents are appropriate for your father).
