Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

if I have found a trust in my parents name (both deceased), how can I find out with whom it is "handled" by?

The trustee should be named in the trust. Most likely your parents were the original trustees, but there would be a successor trustee named.

I agree with Mr. McCormick. If there is real property in the trust, you should also be able to find out from the county recorder's office, or even the tax assessor, who the current serving trustee is, assuming that the property has been properly transferred into the trust.
