Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Freezing assets to fight an inheritance
My mother recently hired her 7th attorney to do her estate planning. There are 3 siblings and my 60 year old step brother convinced her to go against the estate plan the 6th attorney did, dividing the property, and hire a 7th to redo the plan. My mother and brother refuse to tell me what the new estate plan contains. This is at least a $21 million dollar estate and I'm concerned that my sister and I will be disinherited. It's possible that a revocable living trust, a family partnership or any other advanced estate planning techniques are being used to avoid probate. Is there any way to find out what the plan is before my mother's death? At the time of my mothers death what steps do I need to take to find out what the plan was and is there any way for me to freeze my mothers assets to fight my brother?
Thank you.

Re: Freezing assets to fight an inheritance
if you can email me more specific facts and/or evidence you have that support your claim that your brother may be exercising undue influence over your mother's estate currently, as well as your mother's mental state to the best of your knowledge at this point, i may be able to assist you legally in this matter and hopefully prevent a travesty of justice take place.
