Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My grandmother died 7 years ago and her estate has still not been settled. My mother died 7 years ago as well, but before my grandmoter. Since my grandmothers will was not changed, my sister and I became the beneficiaries of my mothers portion. My aunt is the power of attorney and was the maker of the living will. The other party involved is my uncle. My aunt and uncle arent getting along which is why the estate has never been settled. We are worried my aunt has spent all the money and the estate will never be settled. Any advice on who to call or what to do to get the estate closed. And to clarify, my aunt lives in Washington and my grandmother lived in Indiana.

Unfortunately, you will need to contact an attorney licensed in Indiana if that was where your grandmother resided when she passed away. Although you may want to have local counsel to assist you and to follow up regularly with Indiana counsel, the State where your Grandmother resided at the time of her passing is where you need to begin.
