Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
My Grandmother (Mary) just passed in Aug, but before that her oldest daughter (Amber) passed 2 months before.... Does the deceased daughter's husband (Ambres) get Grandmothers inheritence or is it split 50/50 between the 2 surviving daughters of Grandmother????? the trust says something to the effest of lawful??? not sure what that really means. thank you for any help.

Without seeing the document it's tough to know but it would be unusual to go to Amber's husband. To grandkids would be more typical. Good luck. -John
