Grandmother passes

My mother was taking care of my grandfather and grandmother. She has power of attorney. When my grandpa passed away my uncle, who is not talking to my mother took my grandmother from her house and she lived with him. We did not see my grandma only occasionally when she got dropped off at my sis house. My uncle sold my grandma and gramps home to my cousin and now my grams passed away . Their assest where to be divided between their kids, my 2 uncles and my mother, but since my uncle had my grams living with her who knows what he changed or had my grams changed. He secluded her from us. This is not what my grandpa would of wanted. To have my uncle have all the money. He wanted it to be equally shared among his kids. Now my uncle is getting everything. My mom is left with nothing. My cousin and my sister has taken her jewerly, pics and furniture from storage. My mom or my other uncle didnt even get to make funeral arrangements my other uncle handled all affairs and my mom had to find out from my sister. This is very sad. How can my mom prolong my uncle from getting to the money, and how much will it cost. Even if he gets it, it would be nice to hold him back for a year or to. He deserves that. My gram passed march 3. Just recently

Re: Grandmother passes

I'd suggest having an attorney review the facts to see if financial elder abuse was committed by your uncle or other family members--there may be a case.
