Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

my grandmother's will

My grandmother died in November 1996 and my aunt was named executor of her will. But when my father and his two siblings went to my aunt to see the will, she first stated that no will existed (which is not true) then she told her brothers and sister that they were not in the will and didn't receive anything. To his day she refuses to let them see the will and has claimed all my grandmother's old property as her own. We have never seen any of my grandmother's possession expect two dolls I received. What can I do? How can I get a copy of the will? Is there any legal action we can take against her?

Re: my grandmother's will

You can file your own petition to probate your grandmother's estate. This will force the issue with your aunt-she will have to either produce a will or commit perjury and tesify that there is no will. However, you should contact a probate lawyer near to you to see if the case is worth filing, financially speaking.
