My grandmothers will Shes not blood related but shes been there since I was bor
My grandmother past away in Nov.2000 She told me I was in the will and would be receiving things. When i was notified she was in the hospital i called down there and asked if i could come see her and the executer Phil asked me who i was i told him and he told me i couldnt go see her because i wasnt blood related and see wasnt gonna make it through the night. So i was all upset so i went to the hospital the next day any way i explained to the nurses my situation and they let me in but the exc. didnt know. she past away 6 hours after i seen her. I contacted the exc. a week after she past away and asked for some pictures and he said her grandson came from canada and took them back with him everything was shipped to canada. He hasnt notified me about the will.Phil the exc. was her nephew from a previous marriage so not blood related either. He was her X husbands brothers son.I called probate in the city she past away in and the will hasnt went to probate. she was a very wealthy lady no husband. she owned an island in canada and property in ca, and stocks. both men live in canada and we lived in ca. i need help?

You may not need help, as if you are in the will the executor will contact you. If you are untrusting of him, then you may wish to be represented to monitor the probate process. Contact me direct at (619) 222-3504.

I think you need some representation. An attorney should contact the executor and find out when he will be submitting the will for probate and have that attorney file for special notice which require all filings to be forwarded to him on your behalf. You should act quickly so there is no dissapation of assets prior to you receiving notice that you are indeed in the will.
