This was on "The Sopranos." Vito, the closeted gay mob lieutenant, comes back to New Jersey, comes out, and asks Tony T for forgiveness, which is refused. Meanwhile, another mob guy asks Vito to borrow $25K. Vito gets whacked later in the same episode. The wiseguy who borrowed the $25K just smiles.
