About 7 months ago they went in halves on the house that I live in.So everymonth I've been paying my rent to my father. The day before his death, he was upset because of the fact that she wouldnt give him any paperwork and bank statements. He was worried that she was cheating him.Two days later, she finds him dead and she didnt notify me for 2 hours after finding him, giving her plenty of time to take what she wanted. She had the key to the safe and I know there was at least 10k cash in it. Come to find out his will had been changed, he made her executor, made her power of attourney over all of his banking, everything.she became 100% sole owner of the house I live in.She put up his house on the market 2 days ater he died without asking my permission. Shes changed the locks on his house. And sold everything in the house to her relatives, cars motorhome, tools ,furniture, for barely nothing, she called the police on me and told them that I'm not to go on the property without her being there. She had all of his mail forwarded to her po box. Please help, Even his death appears to be foulplayed.I need help immediately before she sells house.

See an attorney quickly about this--if there's a case against her, you can act immediately to stop the sale of the house. The success of the case would depend on your father's mental condition at the time of the transfer(s), and how involved the woman was in these transfers.

I'm sorry to hear of your problem but unfortunately, this is a very common situation. You need to challenge her joint tenancy and probably the will via a petition to void these transfers. Your success will depend on your father's mental state, his previous estate plans and her participation in the wrongful events. Contact an attorney as soon as possible before she sells the house.
