Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Guardianship Financial Liabliliy

What is my fininacial liability in a Guardianship for the person of my children? We allowed a relative to take Guardianship over our children in so they could go to a better school in California. The original verbal agreement was that the Guardian would be financially responsible for everything. They tried to get state assistance and we endend up with a child support agreement that we've been paying in full and on time. The order for child support only states that we have to pay child support and provide medical insurance through our employer if it is offered. The Guardian is now telling us that we are responsible for all expenses of the children, including sending one to a private nursing college and loans they have opened to pay for this education. If we are liable is there a time limit for the Guardian to sue us for payment?
