Guardianship of minor's estate

My son is 11, his dad passed away on his life insurance policy he listed my son (11years) as the beneficiary! In return they asked for the orignal death certificate, in which i sent know the send me a letter stating i have to get a court certificate, guardianship of minor's estate! I cannot afford an attorney cause i barrowed 5.Ooo dollars to pay for his viewing and creamation!! I have to pay this loan back!!! Alls i am asking is to be able to pay for the loan i got and then they could lock the rest up until my son turns 18!!! How do igo about this matter without the courts getting involved!!! Please guide me in the right direction if u can!!
