Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Hello-My aunt rec'd a letter from Attorney asking for copies/notice on irrevocable living trust in CA--Is it OK that my aunt's attorney sent the docs to the other attorney's office, instead of the address of the inquirer? Thanks!

If the attorney represents the person asking about the trust then the attorney is the proper person to send the documents to as he is the agent of his client. But why does such a minor matter really matter?

I agree with Mr. Shers. An attorney acts as an agent, and most attorneys would tell you that one attorney cannot send documents or communications directly to a party that the attorney knows is represented by an attorney.
