Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Hi,
My mothers estate was supposed to be divided up 16 years ago. Not the money that was taken by my sister 16 years ago just household and personal items. Now my sister has come back at me wanting these things. My question is can she do that?

Technically speaking she could but practically speaking it will be very difficult for her to prove that used household items are worth more than the cash she took; you can respond to any claim she makes with one of your own for your half of the cash she took.
