Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Can I hire an attorney from California to do a probate case in Florida? How much does it cost to do the case? There was not a will for the deceased brother. He has 3 children and was unmarried. All children are under 18 years old. The sister needs to include a lien on his business to collect the loan that was given to him to start the business. Is this a separate service to do the lien or can we include this service with the probate case? How long will the case last so we can expect the time frame.

You need a lawyer licensed to practice in Florida.

A California lawyer would have to also be licensed to practice in Florida to handle a Florida probate case, unless he or she were admitted pro hac vice. At any rate, it would be expensive to do it that way, because you would most likely have to pay for air fare and accomodations.
