Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
I hired a B general contractor license holder to fix my garage in Jan 2012. After a few months, he didn't finish but he said it's Okay. In the original contract, he hided a sentence of "Drawing a draft" of main house. I didn't find the sentence and signed the contract. After I refused to pay him the leftover of garage project, he said he also has drawn draft for us. I never see the draft. He said he need to collect the full price of garage and draft, otherwise he will put a lien on my property. Do I need to pay for the never exist draft?
